Active substances?

It sounds very chemical but basically active substances are only the part of a product that produces the desired effect. Many products are advertised with various oils such as sea buckthorn, aloe vera, hemp, blackcurrant, but the product contains very little of these. It is often the last ingredient with the smallest amount, alongside synthetic fillers, emulsifiers, preservatives and water. Our oils only contain these active substances, which make them so potent.

Is natural really better?

pure nature

We are often asked whether natural is really better for people and the environment and the short answer is: yes. Many products have an unnecessarily large footprint because of the plastic in the larger packaging, the synthetic materials in the product, and (which is often neglected) the transport. When a product is full of various materials, requires more packaging material, and therefore has a heavier transport weight (mostly water), you ask yourself: “Is more really better?” At The Alpchemist the bottle may be small but the effect remains big!

The faces behind The Alpchemist

We are both (former) professional athletes and have therefore not only been paying attention to what we put into our bodies for a long time, but also to how we can optimize our time and energy in order to deal with the stresses of everyday life in the best possible way. We have neither the time nor the desire for complicated routines and bad products. And so it happens that the first finished oils were made in 2022.
